Important Information for Manitoba Car Shoppers
Don't forget about open safety recalls when shopping for and buying a used vehicle! You can learn more about recalls on Transport Canada's website and you can search by year, make model to determine if a specific vehicle is involved in a recall.
Not all vehicles in a certain make, model and model year are subject to a given safety recall. We recommend you contact the manufacturer with the 17 digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to determine whether the vehicle is involved in the recall.
The Manitoba Used Car Dealers Association strongly recommends that all consumers register their vehicle with their respective manufacturer so that you can be contacted directly about possible current or future recalls.
